This is going to be a quick list so that you can see the difference between the two—each of their good and bad points. The pluses will be designated with a +, and the negatives will be designated with a -. Let's start of with Kinklab's Bit Gag, then we'll finish with Spartacus Enterprise's.
Bit Gag by Kinklab
+Considerably larger bit, length and girth wise (a little over 4" length, 2½" girth)
-Made of a horrible smelling rubber—I've had it for over a year, and it still smells just as bad as when I bought it
-Rubber cannot be sterilized
-Really up-raised seams
+Seams cannot be felt by wearer
+Has metal inserts in the bit where it meets the large cheek-rings
+Cheek rings have large diameter (3")
+Cheek rings are one-piece rings (no edges that might nick skin)
+Has a locking buckle
+7 adjustment holes, each one is perfectly shaped
+Leather straps are about ¾" in width
+Leather straps have lovely rounded edges
+Leather is fairly good quality, suede finish and soft outside
-Leather has no scent
Bit Gag by Spartacus Enterprise
-Much smaller bit (2½" girth, 3" in length)
+Made of silicone, which does have a slight smell to it oddly enough
+Seams are barely noticeable on the silicone
-No metal insert where it meets the rings—makes less noise, but I personally would prefer to have it there
-Cheek rings have small diameter (almost 2½", but not quite)
-Cheek rings are not one full piece; they have a space in them that might snag the skin if moved around
-Lacks a locking buckle
+11 adjustment holes
-Leather strap is 1" in width
+Leather strap has pointed-edge
-Leather has an odd scent
-Leather has a strange woven grain on the inside
Even though Kinklab's bit gag does have more positives than negatives as opposed to Spartacus Enterprise's, it truly is the worse of the two because of that horrid smell of the rubber. Nothing can make up for that (I should have put multiple negatives for that one). Though I like the design of Kinklab's better, the rubber is not something that can be gotten over. Perhaps if they redesigned it in silicone, that would be better—or even just a better smelling rubber.
They're both great gags to have and are definitely worth their prices, but I'm personally still very confused as to whether or not a company will get the design perfect in every aspect. For me, things could be taken from each of these to make a perfect bit gag: the silicone bit, same size as Kinklab's, the cheek rings that are smelted, high-quality leather, a locking buckle, etc.
