Rainbow Nights Silver Paddle by Ruff Doggie Styles

I bought this paddle a while ago from the lovely Edenfantasys, and I've really just fallen in love with it. Truly, I have. This paddle has brought me even closer to the realization I had a while ago—that Ruff Doggie Styles is an excellent company that makes extremely well-made BDSM products. I have not disliked any product that I've received from them, and that's saying a lot (especially since I'm so picky about my things). I'm really glad that I own the Rainbow Nights Silver Paddle, and that's why I'm showing it to you today! To read my full review, check it out here.

If you're interested in this paddle, you can purchase it for just $50 over at Edenfantasys. Want to get 15% off? Enter my partner code B5P at your checkout to do so. This one not to your taste? Then you can check out a whole lot of other spanking or BDSM implements there too.

Gated Barbed Wire Flogger by Ruff Doggie Styles

Suede and leather falls extend from the Gated Barbed Wire Flogger's leather-wrapped handle. Its mere sight is enough to instill fear in those who know what its strike will feel like. In the short time that I've owned this beauty, I have become completely enamored with it. It's not the sort of thing that I would use constantly, I will admit that. But it's so beautiful that it is worthy of being put on a pedestal like my other favorites. It's actually made me even a bit more into using floggers than I had previously been.

So here it is, Ruff Doggy Styles' beautiful, barbed wire flogger!

Isn't it just beautiful?
Let's go with the basics first, and then I'll tell you just how good this thing is. The flogger has a gorgeous, leather-wrapped handle that bears a checkerboard design. The interior of the handle is wood, I believe, which  will give you a strong grip on it, as the flogger is so-so in the weight department (not too heavy, but certainly not as light as other floggers that I own). On each end of the handle is a little piece of braided leather-enclosed wood, which is there both for style and aesthetic appeal. The handle also has a lovely, two-toned braided wrist strap that can also be used to hang it up, either on a hook, behind a door, or inside of a closet.

So now it's time for the measurements and all of that boring stuff. The holdable length of the handle is 1" wide and 5½" long, and each of those little pieces on its end are 1½" long, and 1½" wide. The loop comes off of the handle with about 4", so it's not the largest loop and it may not fit all wrists. For those that it doesn't, it is better used as just a hanger. The tails are all cut very evenly, and they reach a length of about 30", give or take an inch. That's a substantial length for any flogger, and though some might call it 'long,' do not be intimidated by its length. It's not the shortest flogger, I will agree, but it's also not too long that it becomes unwieldy.

There are two types of tails on this flogger: the suede and the "barbed wire." The barbed wire is actually thin leather strings that are braided together after being conditioned to become very firm. Every so often, there is a little wrap-around of leather and a few little pieces coming off of the braided tail. These are what give the "barbed wire" effect, and the pain and agony. The suede, on the other hand, is just regular suede; if you were to remove the barbed wire tails, the suede would be completely harmless and would make this a softer flogger. The barbed wire tails are black, whereas the suede are a pinkish red color (they are not a vibrant, deep red, but they are not completely "pink" either).

The flogger has a total of forty-eight tailstwelve barbed wire tails, and thirty six regular suede tails. That's a pretty damn good amount that is bound to pack a whole lot of punch. All of the suede tails are cut straight across, not on a bias or to a point, making them relatively soft and smooth. They are each about 3/8" in diameter, which makes them fairly thin and good for use. The suede is so high quality and so smooth and soft that I highly recommend, before using this beauty, rubbing it against your cheek or against your partner's bottom. It just feels so luxurious. The barbed wire tails are extremely beautiful, and hard as rocks. Each of the ends are covered by one of the wrapped-around pieces of leather to make them extra firm and to make sure to "cap" them so that they do not fall apart or unravel.

On the left is a picture of the barbed wire tail, and on the right, I showed the interior of the handle. It is finished with leather so that you do not feel any of the wood pieces at all, just the high-quality leather.

Alright, so after all is said and done, let's discuss how it works and who should use it. This is not a flogger that is meant for playing around, first-timers, or people who are not extreme masochists/sadistsit's meant for people who have quite a lot of experience under their belt and/or enjoy giving/receiving a lot of pain. And I do not just mean "a lot." I mean a LOT. This thing is so hardcore that when used anything other than lightly scratches the skin. No, it doesn't just bruiseit scratches, meaning that it can leave cuts and scrapes, depending on how it's thrown (i.e., swung). So if your partner doesn't like pain, and you don't like pain, and your thing is more rope-tying and bondage, then definitely do not get this flogger.

Personally, if you're not familiar with my style, I am an extreme sadist.
Extreme sadist. So this sort of flogger is right up my alley, and is really pleasing to own. It's like the epitome of the best sadist's flogger, it really is. I mean, it is a bit lighter in the pain area than a paddle or riding crop might be, but comparatively to other floggers...it doesn't get much better than this, it really doesn't. It will bruise if you give very light, repeated strokes, and may leave little stippling marks on the area that's hit. But aside from that, if you take this thing and give a lot of strength between your swing...your victim is certainly in for a surprise. It will scratch, hurt, make them scream in agony. And the best part? This flogger leaves marks for days. Not just for an hour, and not just bruises that will fade. The scrapes and scratches will need to heal, which is a very good part of owning it. Sort of reminds the receiver of all that happened, no?

To wrap this thing up, I'll part with my picture of me holding it and a few nice words. Ruff Doggie Styles' Gated Barbed Wire Flogger is absolutely gorgeous, well-made, and great for extreme sadists and masochists. It's not made for people who are new to flogging or pain, and it's not for people who do not enjoy pain. If you really know what you like, and know that extreme pain is your thing, or you're even trying to push your limits a bit, this flogger's a great one to pursue and test out. I'm very glad that I own it, and I don't doubt that a person who buys it, knowingly understanding its capabilities, will be pleased, too. It's simply that good.  So have I enjoyed it, and will I be using it as much as possible? Yes, and yes. Like I said, it's not the sort of thing that I'd reach for often, and it's not an everyday flogger, but it is one that will last forever and will get a hell of a lot of use.

I received this flogger, free of charge, from Edenfantasys. I highly recommend looking there for other floggers or impact play implements if this one is not to your taste.

Élégance charging in the wall. Notice it being lit up.

I wrote a review for this beautiful, elegant vibrator quite a while ago but never really posted any pictures for everyone to drool over. And trust me, this vibrator's worth it. It's up there with those luxury companies, LELO, Jimmyjane, the companies that sell those vibrators that are more than a hundred dollars. It's plastic with a medical grade silicone layer that's velvety smooth. It's also rechargeable either by USB port or wall outlet, so you can choose. And it's just absolutely gorgeous. Here are my photos of Élégance, and I hope that you enjoy!

On the top row, you can see the box that Élégance comes in. On the bottom, I've shown the beautiful vibrator on the left and an up-close look at the design on its traveling case on the right.

The entire view of the case on the left and all of the pieces that come in the box on the right.

The little booklet.

The wall charger open on the left, and closed on the right. It flips open to show a universal charger.

Wet Naturals: Beautifully Bare by Wet International

Right off the bat, let me say that this lubricant is a really good water-based lube. I've never written a lubricant review as lubricant is not something that I go too wild over—my general thought process is that if it works, it's compatible with my many penises, and it does not irritate my partner, then it's all fine. But Fascinations decided to send me one, so of course I accepted (I mean, hey, why pass up some free lube?)! This particular lubricant is Wet Naturals: Beautifully Bare, and I actually really like it.

The size bottle that Fascinations sent me is a 3.3 oz bottle that has a flip-top and a little hole that it can be poured or squeezed from. It comes out extremely easily, so simply turning the bottle upside down after opening should allow you to get it out. On the side of the bottle is a little grip piece, which I have no idea what its purpose is as it does nothing helpful when the hands are wet. The lubricant goes for about ten dollars on Fascinations' website, which is a really excellent price for a lubricant bottle of this size, especially for what you'll be getting.  On the front, it mentions that it's for "sensitive skin," meaning that it should be good for most individuals to use on their "sensitive" parts.

It's not too runny like some other water-based lubricants can be, and it has this light scent that is not too overpowering. In other words, it will not kill you once you open the bottle or lather it over a partner's genitals—it's very light, and you would need to put your nose right up to where it was applied to sense it. It's almost like a pineapple/mango smell, and what's even more surprising than its scent is that it's also edible! It tastes just how it smells, and does not have a bad aftertaste or anything of the sort. I was pleasantly surprised by that, because it was even better than some of the flavored lubricants that we've tried.

The only problem that I foresee with this lubricant is the same problem that there is with most water-based lubricants—it does not stay for long and needs to be reapplied quite often (like every couple minutes or so, or when the area it needs to be used on gets dry). Since it's water-based, it can be used with almost any material, and the good thing about it is that it's hypoallergenic, meaning that it should be safe for most individuals to use too! Always look at the product list though before buying, because it may have something that's not compatible with your body.

For anal use, I wouldn't really recommend this lubricant because it's not the thickest out there. Some people have a problem with more runny/watery lubricants, and this one certainly is both of those things. It's extremely runny, though it is more thick than other water-based lubricants that I've tried. Regardless, if you do plan to use it for that (which, I most likely will), make sure to apply a lot both to the tush and to whatever's being used, be it a penis, dildo, or plug. After applying a good amount, keep the bottle close by in order to reapply it during play.

So overall, how did I like it? A lot, honestly. It's been a really great lubricant for me because it's not irritating at all, it's slick and watery (which I like more than thicker lubricants), and it smells and tastes nice. And guess what? It's also really low-priced, which is always a plus in my book. Since lubricant is something that most people always need, it's great to have a cheaper option that works well, smells great, and tastes really delicious.

You can purchase your own Wet Naturals lubricant over at Fascinations for only $10. (They have two sizes there actually, so if you're just wanting to try it out, you can purchase the mini-mini size for a lower price.)

A special thanks to Fascinations for sending me this lubricant, free of charge, for my honest review. Thank you!
